Partner, Certified specialist SBA construction and real estate law
Deputy judge at the administrative court of first instance
Gregory von Niederhäusern is one of the partners at STUDIO LEGAL. His practice focuses primarily on real estate and construction law, as well as commercial law. He advises and represents private individuals, developers, institutional clients, as well as tradespeople and construction companies, in both public and private law matters.
In the field of real estate law, he has solid experience in real estate transactions, condominium ownership, property rights, easements, neighbour law and tenancy law. He also assists clients with matters relating to the acquisition of real estate by persons abroad (LFAIE).
He further advises property owners and developers on their construction projects, whether it be assessing the feasibility of projects in building zones or outside building zones, navigating land-use planning requirements, or assisting them in regularisation and restoration proceedings. He also represents tradespeople and contractors in protecting their interests, in particular where it becomes necessary to obtain a statutory lien.
With extensive contractual experience, he drafts and negotiates both contracts relating to construction projects (including works contracts, architect agreements, engineer agreements and brokerage agreements) and a wide range of commercial contracts. In this way, he assists owners, developers, companies and self-employed professionals in structuring and legally securing their projects and business relationships.
Lastly, Gregory von Niederhäusern regularly conducts civil and administrative proceedings, in particular before the Geneva, Vaud and federal courts.
